Maintenance Worker

The City of Bayard is accepting applications for the position of Maintenance Worker.

Principal duties are for parks and recreation maintenance but may include manual labor

work, working on water leaks, unplugging sewer lines, reading meters, street

maintenance, heavy equipment operation, maintaining the water and sewer system and

any other duties related to municipal maintenance and operations.

Applicant must posses a current New Mexico Driver’s License, a high school diploma or

equivalent and be able to lift objects of at least 75 pounds and must complete a preemployment drug, alcohol and physical examination. Certification in water and/or

wastewater systems will be considered.

Applications may be picked up at the Bayard City Hall, 800 Central Avenue in Bayard,

NM. Final selection will be made at the Councils discretion.
